Three Effects of Internet Addiction in Teenagers
50% of the teenagers and 20% of the parents are addicted to
internet. Most of the teenagers and parents check their emails, or in this case for teenagers they check a lot their social media like: Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.
internet. Most of the teenagers and parents check their emails, or in this case for teenagers they check a lot their social media like: Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat.
The first effect of the internet addiction on teenagers is lack of socialization with other people. When teenagers, but also kids, and parents stay with their friends, most of the times they use their mobile phones to go on their social media, and spend the night with their friends on their mobile phones. Teenagers, and kids most of the times when they are with their friends they spend most of the time playing on their phone, and going on social medias checking their pictures or doing other sorts of things on their social media like posting pictures every second, or in most cases they do “lives” or directs that make them very unsociable with their friends.
The second effect that is also very dangerous is dependence. Internet dependence is something that doesn’t occur only to teenagers, but to the rest of the people that can’t control their time on the Internet. Kids, and teenagers get in most of the cases, dependent by playing video games, and by playing video games teenagers isolate themselves, or get extremely angry with other people. In most of the cases, if kids are dependent to video games, they are bad in school, get angry with parents and friend near them, and in most of the cases they get money without any permission, and spend it on video games.
The third effect of internet addiction on teenagers is lack of interest in other things.
Most of teenagers including me on a Sunday evening want to stay home, and not go on a
trip to the museum, but we want to stay home watching T.V, or play in the park where
they live , or play video games with their friends. All of this are facts that happen today.
Nowadays we don’t see anymore kids or teenagers in museums except if
they are on a school
trip, and we don’t see anymore kids playing with their friends a lot, in the streets most of
the times teens and kids play on their phone, and for this there is a lack of interest in
nowadays kids and teens.
Nowadays kids, teens, and parents in many cases stay on their phones, and people
don’t interact as much as before, but still there are people in this world that are not
addicted like me, and I pass my time playing video games (not a lot), and watch some
football matches or Criminal Minds.

ReplyDeleteYour blog was very interesting and very easy to read over.It will make me limit the time I spend on internet as well as attempt to convince my parents to spend more time together instead of spending most of the time on internet.
